Dear Ashley and Katrina
Just a short note to say
how pleased we were with the way that you helped us when our
mum passed away.
We were particularly
impressed with the way that you presented mum for us when we
came to see her the evening before her funeral.
And the funeral the
following day, although sad was truly inspiring.

I can not thank you enough
for the love and understanding that you have shown when our
son was accidentally killed. When Jason was killed we
were at a loss as to what to do and who to turn to. However,
once you came to our home and placed your guiding hand on
the tiller, a sense of peace came over us. And we knew
that Jason and all our needs would be taken care of.
We especially thank you
for the assistance that you arranged for us with
“Compassionate Friends”. I understand that you are
both members of this organisation and that we share the bond
of both losing sons.

your understanding and compassion at such a difficult time

How can I ever thank you
for your understanding and love when my husband Peter died?
It is impossible for me to
thank you enough. Before, I called you I had spoken to
many other funeral places. Not one of them were
interested in me because of my predicament. But once I
spoke to Ashley I knew that Peter could have the funeral
that he so richly deserved.
As you know in the
beginning Nikki and Liam were both too scared to see their
dad, but after your encouraging words they decided to go in
and spend some time with him. I know that they are
both pleased that they did and still talk about how good he
looked.

Just a short note from New
Zealand. Everything went well with Ben’s funeral.
On the day of the funeral it rained heaps but no one minded.
We were all amazed that you could get him back home at such
short notice, and also arrange for 15 of us to fly on the
same plane with him.
We will certainly be
recommending you to all our friends.

Many thanks for looking
after Sangetta for us. Being new to Australia I did
not know that anyone understood our cultural requirements
and I was really surprised when you knew exactly what do and
how to do it.
Our family now has a very
big hole in it but just knowing that my wife had the
traditional funeral that our culture requires was of great
comfort to us.

Thanks heaps for your
kindness and understanding when Tubby passed away. Living in
Narrabri we were at a loss as to what to do when Tubby died
in Cairns.

as far as our kaupapa is concerned. Your integrity and your
